Lemon Spritz

This is a washed coffee processed at the Chelchele processing site in Ethiopia. It begins with a refreshing acidity reminiscent of lemon iced tea, leading into the ripe sweetness of apricot jam, while an aroma evoking white flowers envelops the entire cup.

Chelchele is a station that collects cherries harvested by nearby smallholder farmers and operates both washed and natural processing methods. The heirloom variety, grown at an altitude of 2,100m, has high density and distinctly vibrant acidity, with the clean washed process clearly revealing its characteristics. The balance of acidity and sweetness is best when the temperature has dropped slightly.
